Out on the campaign trail with Karen Ward
Sheringham needs to have a fresh start for our Norfolk County Councillor. We need a County Councillor who is genuinely interested in the needs and priorities of the town and is connected to the local community and understands how this important role can support the town. Within my current council roles I have been instrumental in developing the Town Plan and supporting the development of our local Tourist based economy. I have also worked hard and been committed to connecting organisations to bring those plans forward. This has included working with Norfolk County Council and being the voice for Sheringham.
To be elected as the County Councillor for Sheringham will enable me to take that role further from the inside of the organisation. This will ensure that Sheringham’s voice will be heard and the community can benefit from that. It will also in my view help us to build the connections with both Norfolk and beyond which can help us to improve our local economy and provide more opportunities for our young people. If you want to help me realise that opportunity it would be great to hear from you.
As a candidate for Norfolk County Council this year it will be a busy time ahead. With the Corona Virus Pandemic it is also going to be a very different election campaign but it will still be one where I will need people to help. I would really appreciate help with putting together a campaign team and finding people to fulfill the following support roles.
- Delivery Co-ordinator
- Delivery people-willing to deliver leaflets etc.
- Poster coordinator
- Help with putting up campaign boards and posters
- People willing to make phone calls on my behalf to encourage people to support the campaign
- People willing to door knock and share our news- subject to COVID restrictions
- Envelope stuffers and administrative jobs
- To make and eat cake
- to work with a team to make a difference in Sheringham for our community
