Following on from the Sheringham District Councillors work over the last year in regard to the issue of school parking Cllrs Bevan jones, Heinink and Withington would like to ask you to consider some of the suggestions which have been brought forward.

We must stress this is a consultation exercise and is not a proposal in place.  On collecting the views of yourselves and also from the residents in the area of the school a proposal will be put together for consideration.

We would also like to stress that in a time of Climate Emergency we do not see the sole answer to be providing more parking to encourage people to drive to school. This consultation is also part of a raft of measures being taken via the school to encourage parents, carers and children to walk, bike and scoot to school.
